Antique Equipment

As many people know, Lakeside Sand & Gravel is very interested in restoring the mining equipment from days past. We bring you this page to give you a chance to look at some of the projects that have been completed, as well as equipment that is currently in the process of being restored. Some restorations are as simple as giving a machine a nice paint job. Others involve tearing it completely apart, finding other machines for parts, making new parts, plus a whole lot more. With this page, we would like to take you into the shop with us and track the progress of some restorations as they move along.

If you have, or know of, a piece of antique construction equipment and would like to share information about it, please feel free to get in touch us at [email protected]

Lakeside Sand & Gravel, Inc. is now home to the newly formed Harry Young Chapter of the Historical Construction Equipment Association. Every Wednesday, the chapter meets at Lakeside Sand & Gravel to work on the antique equipment, swap stories, and enjoy a good meal.
